Recapitulation of 2024

It has now been a year and a half since my health returned to normal and the doctor declared the colon cancer to be stopped. A few days ago, however, I had to have my stomach checked. Unfortunately, they found another polyp again, but this time its ability to transform into a tumor is no longer 90% like before, but "only" 50%.

I spent the Christmas holidays more or less alone. I am not in the mood to celebrate and spend time in social conversation with friends. Christmas was a sad time. I miss Nandi very much.

I wrote a message to Alex Timmer on Whatsapp asking him to pass it on to Nandi. I don't think he passed on the message.

The most important were 3 events in 2024:

1) I finished the house renovations. I know that the chance of ever being with my greatest love is very close to zero. But I wanted to fix the house in case Nandi ever came into my life in the future, so that he would like it here.

2) I saved more money for Nandi. Half a year ago it was 5000 euros, now I have managed to save 8000 euros. I am not as rich as Nandi's new friend, the wages here are lower than in the Netherlands, but I am happy that I managed to do it. Unfortunately I have no way to give Nandi the money, or how to send it. I have no idea yet.

3) The most beautiful thing was that finally there was an event for children with scoliosis, organized by my foundation activity Nandi. I managed to create a foundation activity that I called Nandi and that helps children with scoliosis. 10 children participated, who are now working to improve their scoliotic curve.

If it were not for the great love for this beautiful and exceptional Indonesian boy, such a foundation would never have been created. Thank you Nandi.
